Debt running up!!

I ordered 3 droplets a while back, everything was good and went well. I deleted my droplets just before i ran out of credits… somehow one of the servers re-appeared (i am sure that i deleted everything, so it must have been a glitch).

When i noticed this about a month later (because i stumbled upon a few emails regarding my debt) it was already too late: 12.6 dollars in debt.

Somehow i am unable to delete the strange droplet, this is why i contacted support a few days ago. But they dont respond! Almost 48 hours and my debt is running up!!! Please help!!

I do apologize for any delays you’ve experienced. It’s true, we’ve been a bit backlogged, which is due in part to the reboots surrounding the Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities. As a result, response times have been higher than normal, however, we are working as quickly as possible to ensure we’re able to reduce response times, while also ensuring all customers receive the best possible support and a resolution to the issues they are experiencing.

If you’re able to provide me with a Ticket ID, I’d be more than happy to take a closer look in to the ticket itself and see both what’s going on as well as what we do to get you a refund. Okay, i decided to pay for the fault that digitalocean made. this unlocked my droplet so i could delete it (preventing digitalocean charging more money) I consider this a fraud and i will charge my money back through paypal.

I am fed up with digitalocean, there is no way of contacting them and my debt is still going up even though my droplet is not running and cant be deleted. Why is there no response from a big company like digitalocean?

The service of digitalocean is beyond terrible, i didn’t expect much but this is unseen. I am hesitating to just leave and never come back. they dont have any of my credentials. The problem is, this would be fraud… but then hey; charging money for something that someone cannot use and cannot turn of could be classified as a fraud as well.

Digitalocean, please. Delete my droplet…

Billing support is not the same as creating a support ticket? Still no response.

This is an issue you will need to submit with DigitalOcean Billing Support.
