Default Interface for Private Networking

Posted on June 5, 2015

Will requests from a droplet to a private networking address default to the private networking interface (eth1)?

If not, are there any docs on how to set that up, either by port or destination IP?

I’m having trouble connecting via private network, but public IPs work just fine. Before I re-do the firewall rules, I’d like to know how the requests are being routed.

You can´t access the private IP over the Internet. It is non public and works only from Droplet to Droplet at the same Location. Just like a local network
