/dev/eth0 has NO-CARRIER on droplet

root@myserver:~# ip addr 2: eth0: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state DOWN

This looks like the parent hypervisor on my droplet has my eth0 interface disconnected.

I cannot ping my gateway from my droplet. I cannot ping anything in my droplet’s subnet.

I can ping my droplet’s gateway from my home PC, so the gateway is up.

How do I get my NO-CARRIER flag to go away and regain network connectivity?

Same problem - Out of the blue droplet loses network connection. eth0 No-carrier.

have you solve this problem? it happen to me

Same problem here. Droplet works correctly but one day it lost network. Do you have found solution?

This is in SFO1, which had a hypervisor update on Tuesday.
