Digital Ocean does not send email with password etc on first time droplet creation

I just created a new droplet but DO did not send the requisite email with password details etc for the first time creation. I have tried severally to reset the password using the control panel but still same issue i.e. no emails with details from Digital Ocean. Very frustrated, please help

Can you check your spam/junk folders, because that happens sometimes too.

If it’s not in your spam folder, most probably you’ve set for SPAM e-mails to be rejected. You should be able to reconfigure this from your webmail.

Alternatively, if you are using a free mail service, it’s possible your vendor is actually blocking the message, you can try changing the E-mail address in your control panel to gmail or something else.
