Digitalocean DNS does not work (after more than 72 hours)

Hi, all! Digitalocean support does not response for almost 4 days… I hope somebody here can help me. I have a domain name magicescape.es that register in nominalia.com. There I set digitalocean’s NS records (ns1.digitalocean.com, ns2.digitalocean.com, ns3.digitalocean.com). Then on my digitalocean panel, I set A record with IP of my hosting (this website not from digitalocean). For my subdomain admin.magicescape.es i set IP of my droplet. I did it almost a week ago. But, still, my domain names (both magicescape.es and admin.magicescape.es) do not work correctly. Sometimes my website unavailable. I can’t get SSL certificate for admin.magicescape.es, because of

Failed authorization procedure. admin.magicescape.es (http-01): urn:ietf:params:acme:error:dns :: DNS problem: SERVFAIL looking up A for admin.magicescape.es - the domain's nameservers may be malfunctioning

https://dnschecker.org shows that almost 40% of default servers show that my domains are unavailable.

How can I fix it?

Hello, @Dzam

I can confirm that there is still some DNS propagation. However keep in mind that DNS changed might take up to 72 hours or even more due to ISP cache and normal DNS propagation. When ti comes to DNS propagation there is not much you can do except of setting a lower TTL for the DNS records (A records) in order to speed up the process a bit. As mentioned usually the DNS changes take longer time due to DNS cache from all the IPSs.

Do you have a ticket number from when you contacted our support team so that I can get this followed up for you?

Hope that helps!

Regards, Alex
