Disable Apache2 Logs Entirely?
Hi, I’m looking for a way to completely disable Apache2 from writing to /var/log/apache2. Every week my MongoDB instance stops working because the logs take up over 70 gigabytes of space in my Droplet. Although it’s a simple fix (stopping apache, deleting the logs via ftp, and restarting), it really bothers me that I have to go through this in the first place. In my conf files, I have my ErrorLog and CustomLog both set to /dev/null - but it doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Can anyone help me with this ridiculous issue? If disabling logs entirely seems foolish, I’d at least like to know how to put a size limit on these despicable log files.
