Hello, I really like Digital Ocean and our current infrastructure is happy there. However given the very common complaint about disk space, has anyone resorted to “renting” many small $5/month Droplets to be used purely as disk-space holders.
The $5 are the most cost effective droplets form disk space, I’d MUCH rather spend extra money to get a real solution instead of a hack, but alas this is where we are.
Our current need is for a small/medium Cassandra cluster so I greatly hesitate to use a high latency solution to go to another cloud provider, I figure droplets in the same datacenter on the private network over NFS would be better.
Has anyone had any experience in doing something like that, or has found some other solution?
