Django. Why does the Admin site not look like Django Tutorial (djangoproject)

I am interested in learning django … . I installed the droplet in both Ubuntu and Debian and was not able to reproduce the Admin site as shown here … The Admin site presents as a malformed HTML page …

Anyone know what the site is missing ?

Hey! Any further information that you could provide would help us figure out your issue. How did you install Django? Are you using the one-click app? Are you seeing any errors in your log files?

It sounds like the static files are not being loaded properly. If you are using Django Admin installed in a virtualenv, remember to run ./ collectstatic If you are using the system-wide package and using something like Nginx as a reverse proxy, you might need to adjust you proxy configuration. For instance, on the one-click app you might want to add the following to /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/django

    location /static/admin {
       alias /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/django/contrib/admin/static/admin/;
