Floating IP’s are really great, but they don’t span to other data centers. If you have quite a few domains managed by DO’s DNS and end up moving your Droplet to another data center or region, updating all your DNS records to match your Droplet’s new IP can be very time consuming. I found an IP update script for domains managed by Cloudflare (https://www.aetherweb.co.uk/batch-editing-cloudflare-dns-ip-with-cloudflare-api-in-php/), but couldn’t find any scripts like this created for DO. Anyone know of something similar that already exists but uses DO’s API? Thanks!

Hello there,
I believe there is no official tool. but we do recommend this custom script which you can also check in GitHub

You’re also free to use any other third-party script that can achieve the same result.
