I am getting this error - any ideas how I can fix it please (domain name has been changed). It happened when I try to modify a CNAME incorrectly which I have since then deleted however the error remains there:
/dev/shm/bind/DO/db.domain.com:19: ignoring out-of-zone data (ghs.googlehosted.com) dns_master_load: /dev/shm/bind/DO/db.domain.com:22: domain.com: CNAME and other data dns_master_load: /dev/shm/bind/DO/db.domain.com:22: domain.com: CNAME and other data zone domain.com/IN: loading from master file /dev/shm/bind/DO/db.domain.com failed: CNAME and other data zone domain.com/IN: not loaded due to errors.

DNS changes can take several minutes to take affect. If your computer is in a different area than where the DNS server is responding, it takes longer. This may explain why the error disappeared. Or, magic?
