OK I have a domain directdelvieriesni.com
Last week we changed ISP, and as such we got a new ip address, I was able to update the A record with the new ip address and setup port forwarding on our new router.
Since then we are getting a DNS error, intodns.com report;
(PTR) ERROR: No reverse DNS (PTR) entries. The problem MX records are:
81.113.2.5.in-addr.arpa -> no reverse (PTR) detected
You should contact your ISP and ask him to add a PTR record for your ips
So my question is who sets up the PTR me, my domain provider or new isp?
The server is on parallels if that helps.
Thanks

The PTR record is set by the owner of the IP address (usually the ISP), which in this case appears to be “Go Mobile Bodmin/Shebang Technologies Group Ltd”.
