Dns multiple sites and ispconfig

Hi all I have set up my droplet, sucessfully instaled ispconfig3 with nginx.

First, the domain I added was pointing to default nginx folder, instead of ipsconfig created one for the site. Now both domains point to same folder (that would be the one of the , but the other one does not work.

As i didn’t know wich info would be helpfull to make you understand the mess i did, i made this album: there, you can check the ispconfig3 screens and also the dns in Digital Ocean’s panel

Btw, i followed some tutorial to set the server up, and i iwasn’t really sure in what to put in ‘hostname’, as you ucan see in ptrrecotrds, but in ubutu config i got this:

myuser@crescernavida:/var/www/ hostname

myuser@crescernavida:/var/www/ hostname -f

thank you in advance for you time

first of all, your DNS is not really configured the right way… <br> <br>Look here: <br> <br> <br>each domain is going to have the same setting, but different domain name so there is no issue, no worries. <br> <br>P.S, you don’t need the mail record as shown in the url provided though… <br> <br>now you can create each domain a vhost like this with different root path: <br> <br>server { <br> listen 80; <br> <br> server_name; <br> <br> root /PATH/TO/WEBROOT; <br> <br> error_page 404 errors/404.html; <br> access_log logs/; <br> <br> index index.php index.html index.htm; <br> <br> location ~* .(jpg|jpeg|gif|css|png|js|ico|html)$ { <br> access_log off; <br> expires max; <br> } <br> <br> location ~ /.ht { <br> deny all; <br> } <br>} <br> <br>check it out here: <br> <br>
