Hi, I currently have a setup where i have a flask app on the App platform and a CouchDB database on a VPS and im looking to migrate the Database as a component of the flask app in the app platform, any ideas how i can connect them to each other when ive migrated the Database

Hello, Digital Ocean does not have support for CouchDB at the moment. The only No SQL database option available is MongoDB. If you switch to Mongo DB then you will have to create a mongo cluster in the databases section of your Account and then go to the App settings and Add a database component to your App. Make sure to use the existing database option to use the previously created MongoDB cluster.
