Hello All,

Upon further reading at least, CentOS 7 will be available until 2024. Maybe for a longer running project, it would be better to actually go to a CentOS 7 machine rather than use CentOS 8 as CentOS 8 is the one affected by this.

Hi @pin,

It’s still too far to say. The way I see it, more and more people will start using Ubuntu or any other OS rather than CentOS. I don’t like what I’m seeing from this article but hey, that’s life, unfortunately. I’m one of the people that prefer CentOS to Ubuntu or anything else in the Unix family but I guess that won’t by anymore.

Regards, KFSys
