I have a Docker app that I’m deploying to the App platform, that includes installing postgresql.
During the Docker build when installing postgresql it should create a folder /var/run/postgresql that is used to start the postgres server. However the folder is missing which causes the postgres start to error.
It seems to be specific to the App platform, if I build the same image in a Droplet, the installation works fine and I can start postgres.

#! /usr/bin/env bash set -e # dependencies export DEBIAN_FRONTEND=noninteractive apt-get update apt-get install -y postgresql bash apt-get clean
