Does 64 bit linux use more ram than 32 bit?

Simple question, find many different answers/opinions on Google. Does a 64 bit Linus OS(ubuntu specifically) use more ram than 32 bit version? My droplet is only the 512 so I just want to know if I'm wasting ram by using 64bit.

I suggest you go with 64-bit.
