Hello,

Yes, you can install cPanel/WHM on a CentOS droplet. You can either deploy it manually or use the one-click install app from our marketplace.

We have an existing tutorial on how to install cPanel/WHM on CentOS 6. If you’re CentOS version is newer you can still follow the listed steps in the tutorial as the process is not different from installing it on CentOS 6, the same rules apply to CentOS 7. You can check the tutorial here:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-cpanel-on-a-virtual-server-running-centos-6

You can also quickly deploy a droplet using the one-click droplet from our marketplace. cPanel is a third party application managed through our Marketplace. New installations of cPanel come with a 15 day free trial. For further use beyond that point a valid license will need to be purchased directly through cPanel. https://store.cpanel.net/view/cpanel/license-options?type=VPS

Please refer to below link for further details:

Hope this helps!

cPanel is a convenient application that allows users to administer servers through a GUI interface instead of the traditional command line. Although the installation for cPanel is relatively simple, the script does take several hours to run. Here's how to install cPanel on a virtual server running Centos 6

Hey there,

You can certainly install cPanel/WHM on a CentOS Droplet. We do not sell licenses for cPanel, but if you purchase that directly from cPanel they’ll offer support for their software. Our support is here if the Droplet infrastructure related issues.
