Does digitalocean allow reverse DNS sub-delegation to different DNS servers?

i think the only way to set a rseverse DNS record is via the droplet's hostname.
That is correct. You must name the droplet example.com in order for reverse dns to work properly.
So if my droplet is named example.com and someone does a reverse DNS search on the IP of my droplet, they will receive the DNS entry for example.com?
What I am really after is if someone searches my droplet's IP, they will be able to see "example.com" somewhere and then go to that page for information.
