Does digitalocean allow reverse DNS sub-delegation to different DNS servers?

Thanks

Hi,

i think the only way to set a rseverse DNS record is via the droplet's hostname.

  • That is correct. You must name the droplet example.com in order for reverse dns to work properly.

  • So if my droplet is named example.com and someone does a reverse DNS search on the IP of my droplet, they will receive the DNS entry for example.com?

What I am really after is if someone searches my droplet's IP, they will be able to see "example.com" somewhere and then go to that page for information.

    Thanks for the replies.
