My rails application is hosted using the Apps feature (basic tier). I had added my domain and got the confirmation that it is processed and is now managed by the Apps.
The .ondigitalocean.app url is working fine. My domain as also working fine for the first 1-2 days, but now it points to another website/app which is not owned by me. I cannot make any DNS modifications as that says the domain is managed by the Apps.

App Platform will just add the required DNS records for your domain pointing to app. However, you should be able to manage the DNS records via cloud panel.
In case your domain nameserver is pointing to an external nameserver then please reach out to them and update the DNS records.
