I am new on DO I took a snapshot of an existing Droplet that has Ubuntu, apache2, zpanel and wordpress. I will call this domain xxxx.com as an example.
I created another droplet under another domain (yyyy.com) name using that subscription.
I want to use the new droplet for dev and test, but under the new domain (yyyy.com).
What is the best way to have it working properly since hhtpd-vhosts.conf has a lot of pointing to domain xxxx.com
Thanks, Mario

Unfortunately, it sounds like you will need to edit these files to point to the new domain. Though using find and sed together, you can automate it a bit. For example to replace all mentions of example.com with new-domain.com, move into the folder containing the files and run:
cd /etc/apache2
find . -type f -print0 | xargs -0 sed -i 's/example.com/new-domain.com/g'
