I created a droplet from a snapshot and when I try to access it like before from the broswer, it will redirect to the old ip address and will still not load the site. I tried to login through terminal with the new ip address and it work while i couldn’t login with the old ip address. When I ping both 1p address from the terminal they both work. What am I not doing right?

Hello,
Did you ever figure this out?
I’m having the same issue with a new droplet that I created from a snapshot.
A lot of people are having this problem.
Whenever you create a droplet, you should document everything you did to set that droplet up, such that if you needed to recreate that droplet, you could start over, and simply follow your documentation step by step, and create a new droplet exactly like the first.
Likewise you could look into your documentation, and see what things you did to affect the ip address.
Here is the most likely file affecting your ip:
/etc/hosts

I’m having the same issue here. I created a droplet from a Snapshot and it redirects to the old IP.
