Hello,

It sounds like your webserver might not be running.

You would need to SSH to your droplet and start your webserver service, it would depend on if you are using Nginx or Apache or any other service, but you could take a look at those two guides on how to troubleshoot common Nginx or Apache problems:

  • Troubleshoot Common Nginx Issues on Linux Server:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/how-to-troubleshoot-common-nginx-issues-on-linux-server

  • Troubleshoot Common Apache Issues on Linux Server:

Hope that this helps.

Bobby

    • Hi @gokceunal,

It sounds like your backed application has not been started. It really depends on your setup but if you are using NodeJS for example you need to make sure that it is up and running.

What I could suggest is, once you start your application is to also make sure that you have mechanism in place that would start it automatically on boot as well. This is really application specific, but if you are using NodeJS you could use PM2 to make sure that the NodeJS application starts automatically.

      Regards,
      Bobby
