Do you mean mail FROM your Drupal site is going into spam on the receiving system? Try this: set up an SPF record for your Drupal site’s domain that explicitly allows mail from your droplet’s IP address.
I use a transactional email service and would definitely recommend using one. (For what it’s worth I use Mandrill they give you 12,000 free a month). This will allow you to see report on deliverability, open rates, etc.
However you decide to send them you need to look into your SPF and DKIM records and include your server. There are some generators out there to assist you.
