Hi,
I have a site moved over from my media temple account, and on both instances (one there, and one on my new DO vps), the difference in memory (as reported by the drupal dev module) is a staggering double use here on the vps as opposed to what it is on the grid.
Is there something more I need to do with apache & php? possible a more updated version of both?
thanks!

also, should be noted, that both instances are running under different hostnames (its how I kinda caught this), and other than the hosted platforms, they are identical in every way.
Hey, a little more input would be appreciated. What size droplet are you using, which drupal modules are enabled. <br>Apache/nginx/lighttpd? <br>PHP, php-fpm, php fastcgi proxy? <br>mysql, mariadb, percona-server? <br> <br>Hop on to the chat, it’s easier to help out in real time <br>http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=digitalocean&uio=d4
so I figured this out…the apache/php that comes “out of the box” with ubuntu 12.04 was the problem…changed my droplet to ubuntu 13.10, and used the default packages for LAMP, and now memory usage is less than what I’m using on media temple.
