Question

Enable BuildKit on App Platform Docker build

Is there a way to use BuildKit when building using App Platform? I know it’s the default starting from Docker Engine 23.0.

It also has been integrated since Docker 18.09, but needs to be enabled by env variable DOCKER_BUILDKIT=1, although I can’t find a way to do so as all of build time variables with docker builds are passed as --build-args and not available globally.

I can’t find any information on what version is App Platform running, or if there is a way to change it.

Same request here! Docker args like --chmod are not working and if used they don’t produce any error/warning.
