I noticed that the latest 1-Click Droplet for ERPNext on DigitalOcean is 12.5.0, but the latest stable version on GitHub is 14.4.
I would like to use the 1-Click Droplet on DO but the version seems rather old, so that I would have to build it myself on Ubuntu 22.
Is there any specific reason (e.g. security, stability) for why DigitalOcean stays with ERPNext 12.5?

Hi there,
The ERPNext 1-Click image is supported by the ERPNext team:

What you could do is raise this as a request on their forum as well:

I will also pass your feedback internally to our Marketplace team as well.
In the meantime, you could follow the steps suggested in this discussion here on how to manually install ERPNext 14 on a Droplet:

Hope that this helps!

Heya, I think the deployment team hasn’t gotten up to that point of upgrading it but I’m just guessing here.
Anyway, thank you for the feedback, I’ll make sure to pass that to the responsible team and ask them to update it to the newest stable version.
I’ll keep you updated here in the question.
While that’s going on, you can check the following article on how to install the latest stable version:
