I have a droplet with two seperate wordpress installs running very nicely. I went to add my third website to the droplet and everything went fine until I got the “error establishing a database connection” . I have checked wp-config.php multiple times and matched it with the database and user I created (checked in myphpadmin) . Also, I checked if the MYSQL server is running and it is and I am also able to log into the database using the credentials I have in wp-config.php .
What could possible be causing this error?

Have you checked if the DB_HOST variable is set to the correct server? Something like: <br> <br>define( ‘DB_HOST’, ‘localhost’ );
