I’m having the exact same problem here, except the address does not return anything for the droplet overall, and that I’m using GoDaddy.
I spent hours trying to see if I configured something wrong, but everything looks all right. I even called GoDaddy to see if there’s some problem on their end, but it’s not.
Chances are high that you have configured the nameserver in the wrong place on Namecheap, you have configured it in advanced DNS but you should rather configure them on the domain section of your domains dashboard and the nameservers should be only two for Namecheap to accept them that is ns2.digitalocean.com and ns2.digitalocean.com all the extra IP address configurations can take place on the advanced section read this post for more details https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/319/2237/how-can-i-set-up-an-a-address-record-for-my-domain/
