I have 3 wordpress sites deployed using helm. When I try to deploy a 4th, I get the following error:

error while running “VolumeBinding” filter plugin for pod “wp4-wordpress-59b6ffcb8b-phrtn”: pod has unbound immediate PersistentVolumeClaims

I tried allowing the node to autoscale but no change. According to the graphs, I still have lots of CPU and memory resources.

Any ideas?

Since your error is around “VolumeBinding”, this sounds like it has to do with the disk space that gets attached to your WordPress instance. I don’t know the details of how WordPress Helm works, but I would check if your fourth WordPress site is:

  • Trying to use the same volume as one of the previous 3
  • Trying to use a volume that doesn’t exist

Hope that helps.
