Fix Mixed Content Errors on Laravel App Deployment

laravel and cloud hosting newb. trying to learn the basics right now. I am stuck trying to get my assets to load in https. Site URL loads with the SSL.
Found several fixes but they only seem to address some of the issues they seem like patches and dont seem to address the entire issue.
Anyone want to give me a push in the right direction? Im not having any luck finding good documentation on this.

It sounds like that your
APP_URLenvironment variable is not set correctly.You need to make sure that you set
APP_URLto${APP_URL}.That way the Laravel assets should be loaded from the correct hostname.
Also if you are running Laravel in production already, make sure to set
APP_ENVtoproduction.Let me know how it goes!
