Hello, I would like DNS management to be done by cPanel/WHM
So from what I have read the only way is to use the DNS Server shipped with cPanel/WHM installation, Now I used server IP for my NS1 and then I need to find a second IP so I was thinking why not create an Floating IP and use it for NS2. After trying this I had no success beceuse the ns1 and ns2 where pointing to a IP different from server and from floating IP so I took this unkown IP and created an NS3 with it in the hope it would work the correctly but sadly no success. So is this the correct way to setup DNS management to be done by cPanel/WHM ? Are Floating IP’s the right choice or do I need to purchase IP’s somewhere else beceuse I saw only 1 Floating IP can be assigned to an server and 3 Nameservers are reccomended. I would be so happy if DO Team can give me some hint here what I’m doing wrong.
Thank you, Best regards Ivan Jeremic

Hello,
As you only get 1 IP per droplet, an option that you could consider is the following:
That way you are increasing your redundancy, as if your cPanel server goes down your DNS would still be resolving.
Hope that this helps. Regards, Bobby
