I’ve been migrating my services from GCP to Digital Ocean App Platform.
I had a Cloud Function in GCP that I’ve been using as a background job that generates images and merges layers which relies on the sharp library, the function has 4GB of allocated memory (in GCP).
I created my namespace and deployed the QR code example to test things and all is working. (deployed using doctl, amazing tool)
I allocated the max 1024MB for this function.
However, as soon as I imported my dependencies (no logic code yet just imports require calls) I got an error with sharp:
Something went wrong installing the “sharp” module
Cannot find module ‘…/build/Release/sharp-linux-x64.node’
Any input is appreciated
