Hi,
I’m trying to get a redundant setup with MariaDB Galera (3 nodes cluster).
I have 4 web servers that needs to read/write (not too heavy currently) to the cluster. However, the only piece missing is the “bridge” between web servers and the DB cluster.
What would be the best option? A load balancer? How much of a single point of failure the load balancer would be?
I don’t want to over complicate things either. Any idea is welcomed.
Thanks!

Hello, @raenk
I believe you should be fine with e Load Balancer setup. The load balancer can be a small node which will only redirect the requests. You can use Galera Load Balancer (glb) for this. it should work perfectly.
If you’re afraid that with load balancer in place there is a single point of failure you can grand more resources to the load balancer or simply setup a small test environment to see if this setup will be suitable with your needs.
