The collector should not be stuck for a while, perhaps there might be a slight delay if there are other delete requests queued.
I will also recommend reaching out to our amazing team and they can confirm this for you!

As far as I can see there are currently no reported incidents that could be causing this problem:
In case that you are still seeing the problem and you’ve already tried to manually do that as KFSys mentioned, what I could suggest is to reach out to the DigitalOcean support team who will be able to further assist you with this issue:

I’ll recommend you to manually run the Garbage collector and see if it gets stuck and where exactly. Sometimes, manually intervening by either confirming the delete requests or manually deleting certain items can help the process move forward.
You can manually start garbage collection using the command line and the API.
