This sounds like that you have an incorrect redirect rule setup somewhere. I could suggest a couple of things:

If you are using WordPress make sure that your Site and Home URLs are set correctly to match your domain name

If you are using Apache or Nginx, make sure that any redirects that you have there are setup correctly in your virtual host configuration

Check your
.htaccessrules and make sure that there are no faulty redirects there as well -
Check your Apache or Nginx access and error logs
