What is the reason for this report?

Getting session error message in error log

Getting this error in WordPress site. Ubuntu version 18 php version 7.2

PHP message: PHP Warning: session_start(): Failed to read session data: files (path: /var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php70)

this path even is not there in my server (/var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php70)

It would seem your website is trying to write sessions to the mentioned folder - /var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php70.

To fix this update your session_path in your php.ini and restart your web server. Usually the sessions are saved in your /tmp folder since it has 777 permissions. In order to do so please add/update the following

session.save_path = "/tmp"
