What is the reason for this report?

GoDaddy's mail forwarding does not work. Maybe someone here may help.

Posted on September 13, 2017

Hi, I have set up (using DO’s DNS management) two of my domains (purchased from GoDaddy) to forward all email to GoDaddy and from there to my personal Gmail account. I have added these MX records (according to GoDaddy’s tutorial):

@, 10, mailstore1.secureserver.net @, 0, smtp.secureserver.net

However, I still get an “Undelivered Email” error when using those accounts (e.g. info@mydomain.com).

Strangely, GoDaddy’s control panel confirms that my settings are correct.

I have contacted GoDaddy and I haven’t got a reply, as of this time.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Aprexer , Thanks for your answer. Is there an easy/straightforward way to transfer those domains to another registrar? I have purchased these domains years ago. If yes, which one(s) do you suggest?

I suggest you just keep contacting godaddy it’s their problem but knowing how crap their support is they’ll blame digitalocean and not sort your issue out.
