Question
Hardware clock is massively different to "real" time. Cant sync hardware clock :(
Hi Guys..
I have a problem where the Centos server on the UK DC has a hardware clock very different to the real time.
[root@console ]# date
Thu Jan 15 15:36:22 GMT 2015
[root@console ]# clock
Thu 15 Jan 2015 03:36:26 PM GMT -0.757531 seconds
[root@console ]# hwclock –show
Thu 15 Jan 2015 03:36:30 PM GMT -0.539283 seconds
[root@console ]# hwclock –systohc
[root@console ]# clock
Thu 15 Jan 2015 03:37:12 PM GMT -0.429548 seconds
[root@console ]# date
Thu Jan 15 15:37:13 GMT 2015
Any ideas what can be done here to get the hardware clock in sync?

Sorry, I might be wrong here, but it looks like #date shows you the time in military (24 hour clock) and #time shows you the same time in 12 hour clock.
Are you wanting a different time zone?
AHAHAH.. Oh yeah! How on earth did I not see this! ahhahaah.
This here ladies and gentlemen is a perfect example of over thinking a problem without standing back and just looking at it for a bit
