What is the reason for this report?

Having a LAMP Stack issue Ubuntu 14.04 - Magento (not one click install)

Posted on July 14, 2015

Have properly configured the entire stack… Mysql 5.5.43 is installed… I run Magento “Check” and it tells me I need MySQL 4.1.20 (or greater) … but 5.5 is installed, I have uninstalled and purged all records of MySQL and it still repeats same error no matter install type…

Ideas?
