Having trouble getting and Image to load on a static HTML web page.

I am in the process of learning / building a website for my business. In the mean time I made a simple static HMTL page in word to just have something out there.
I can’t get my images to show up for some reason and I don’t know enough about web sites to troubleshoot it. I checked the image src paths were correct but other than that I’m at a loss. I’m sure it’s something simple like file permission or something but I don’t know.

Thanks in advance

  • This is the folder that the images reside in:

    and the permissions:
    drwxr-xr-x 2 unifiadmin root 4096 Jul 14 00:44 pcd_files

  • To the best of my knowledge this is the part that controls the image.

    <v:f eqn=“prod @7 21600 pixelHeight”/>
    <v:f eqn=“sum @10 21600 0”/>
    <v:path o:extrusionok=“f” gradientshapeok=“t” o:connecttype=“rect”/>
    <o:lock v:ext=“edit” aspectratio=“t”/>
    /v:shapetype<v:shape id=“Picture_x0020_1” o:spid=“_x0000_i1025” type=“#_x0000_t75”
    alt=“A close up of a computer

Description automatically generated”
    <v:imagedata src=“/var/www/html/portcitydata/pcd_files/image001.png” o:title=“A close up of a computer

Descript$
    </v:shape><![endif]–><![if !vml]><img width=294 height=216
    alt=“A close up of a computer

Description automatically generated”
