Help! I have lost everything after the Latest Ubuntu Update [502 Bad Gateway NGINX Error]

Posted on August 14, 2016

Hello Friends,

After the latest OS update all of my wordpress sites are having a ‘504 bad gateway nginx’ error, and the Ajenti control panel used is no longer working at all.

I’m hesitant to delete and reinstall the control panel because I don’t lose all the phpmyadmin and databases created through it.

Worst case scenario could I somehow create a new server and transfer the existing files over, even if I don’t have access to the file manager or control panel?

Your help on this is much appreciated. Thank you eh!
