Hi. I keep getting wp-includes/class-wp-hook critical error on my WordPress site. Need help! (Image below)

I made this thread but couldn’t add a screenshot since I forgot to take one. But the same thing happened today at 5 PM. I had to do update the class-wp-hook file from 0 to 1 to 0 to make it work.

Original thread:

So, I just launched my site using Digital Ocean droplet, Linux/Ubuntu/Apache server. And after 3, 4 days, the site keeps getting critical error showing that something is missing on line 294 of the file mentioned in the title. I change the number 1 and then again 0 to make this work.

Is there any permanent solution to this? Would love if anyone could help. Thank you!

Hi @szuhaadalis,

This error can be basically due to 3 things.

  • Your WordPress installation is missing some core files.
  • You are using an older version of WordPress
  • You are using an older or newer(depends on the WordPress version) PHP version than the recommended one.

Additionally, I’ve found some similar issues on the WordPress Forum which you can see here PHP Warning - call_user_func_array where the issue was solved.

Please read it through and ask if you have any issues.
