in one hour from 123 to almost 850 mb :(
What web server are you using? If you're using Apache, you should consider switching to Nginx: How to Install Wordpress, Nginx, PHP, and Varnish on Ubuntu 12.04.

Also, you should consider deploying database caching – in case you haven't, yet. See How to Install and Use Memcache on Ubuntu 12.04.

Varnish is an HTTP accelerator and a useful tool for speeding up a server, especially during a times when there is high traffic to a site. It works by redirecting visitors to static pages whenever possible and only drawing on the server itself if there is a need for an active process. This tutorial covers installing wordpress on a LEMP stack (with nginx instead of apache), and then installing varnish.
Thank you.
I just begun with the droplet and has no traffic.I have memcache installed ,but still high.Php modules can cvause this maybe?
Apache consumes a lot of resources to process PHP.
