Host servers for others

Is it possible to host servers for other for small financial compensation on DigitalOcean? For example selling a Minecraft server for $7 a month, $5 for the server and $2 because I did it? Does this violate any TOS?

You can do that, but then you’re running the server in your account and you will be responsible for securing/updating the server - and you would also be responsible for anything on the server to be legal and not disruptive to DigitalOcean.

You’re welcome to resell, though we currently do not offer anything white-label, so all IP’s could easily be traced back to us with a simple look up. If that’s not an issue, then you’re fully capable of deploying and selling – many businesses do this with us as well as numerous other providers :-).

Most use the API in some way, so if you need some degree of automation, that’s what I’d recommend taking a look at:
