I recently set up a domain via google domains and set up DO to handle the config for the domain. I receive emails from my personal Google, Yahoo, and iCloud email addresses in the google mail app, however I am not receiving emails from DO (email change, droplet root password reset, account password reset, etc).

Has anybody else experienced this issue? Have you found a solution?

  • So the domain was purchased through Google? And you are trying to receive email @domain.com?

    If so, (1) where is the DNS managed (2) where do you nameservers point to and (3) what do your MX records look like?

If you open up a support ticket with your email address in question, we can take a look on our back end to see where the issue lies. If there is no issue on the backend, you may need to whitelist the digitalocean.com and support.digitalocean.com domains in your address book.
