I set up an openvpn connection using softhether on digitalocean droplet. But whenever I try to connect by wifi, I get the error message code 800. On the other hand, I can connect via my mobile phone using 3g. My pc’s operating system is win8. I dont have another pc, so i cant eliminate the choice of using another pc. Is the problem related to my OS or my wireless modem (philips sna 6500)? Regards Omer.

I am no expert on VPNs, so I can’t give you a very thorough answer, but I do know that at least some routers require some configuration for VPN pass-through. Check your router’s VPN configuration options.
