Hello,

There seems to have been a similar question posted here:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/sftp-connection-error-received-unexpected-end-of-file-from-sftp-server

The reported solution was to do the following:

  • Edit the SSH config:
sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config

  • Then scroll down until you see this line:
# Subsystem sftp /usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server

Leave that line as it is, but underneath it write this:

Subsystem sftp internal-sftp

And then restart the SSH service.

Let me know how it goes.
Best,
Bobby
