Hi all,
I have tried to install an SMTP Plugin and I use a third-party like SendGrid to send emails since I read that I cannot use the default PHP mail function.
Unfortunately, I have installed fastest WP + WP Mail SMTP and got an API key from SendGrid. Everything is connected successfully and when I use the “Email Test” from the plugin (WP Mail SMTP) it says that the e-mail is delivered successfully but when I check the emails I send to there is nothing? Nothing has been delivered.
Am I missing something?
Thanks, Alex

Hi @ageorgiev91,
Can you provide your SMTP settings(without the password) so that we can confirm you’ve added the necessary stuff.
I’ve checked SendGrid and It does seem like it’s for sending out e-mails so you are correct there it should work.
If you decide to send out e-mails from your Droplet with DigitalOcean you’ll need to configure Postfix and Dovecot first. There are some pretty good articles about it here. You can check them by clicking on the bellow links :
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-a-postfix-e-mail-server-with-dovecot
Now, if you don’t want to go over the trouble of configure it yourself, using a service like SendGrid should be okay however since it’s a third party tool you might need to reach out to them in case we fail to see where the error might be.
