How can I update the kernel in Ubuntu 13.10?

Posted on February 27, 2014

I have Ubuntu 13.10 32 Bit on my droplet. I always update my system but whenever a kernel update comes out, Ubuntu doesn’t update grub to use new kernel.

For example, I have installed “3.11.0-17-generic” kernel with the latest update buy my system still uses “3.11.0-12-generic”. I tried to update grub and restart my system but nothing changed.

How do i fix it?
