Hi I had launched moodle application in digitalocean using bitnami. Earlier there was integration and it could be done easily. Now that version of moodle is bit old and I need to update it. When I tred updating it, it turned out that I need to update my lamp stack. I was wondering if I could still easily take new image from bitnami and migrate my config and data. What is according a good plan of action?

Hello all,
I know it’s been a while since this was posted but I want to update this question in case someone runs into it in 2023.
If moodle requires a new version of Apache, MySQL, or PHP this is completely fine. You can always lift the version of these services without hesitation (make sure to backup their respective config files before going ahead and also take a backup snapshot)
When it comes to Moodle requiring a new version of the droplet OS then the process is different. You can try updating the current OS to a newer version or spin up a new droplet and then migrate your data or build the new version of your application.
Hope that this helps!
